Telli is a voice inbox for iPhone. Press the Action Button on the lock screen, speak, and the note is stored exactly as you said it. No unlocking, no typing, nothing rewritten.

Set up once

Open Telli and tap Add the Telli shortcut. Add it to Shortcuts.
In the Shortcuts app, run it once while your phone is unlocked and allow everything it asks for.
Settings → Action Button → Shortcut → Telli.

Then lock your phone and hold the button. Dictation follows your iPhone's language.

If it isn't saving

"I didn't catch anything" - the Thought field in the Save a Thought action is empty. Open the shortcut and set it to Dictated Text.
Nothing happens on the lock screen - permissions were never granted. Run the shortcut once from the Shortcuts app while unlocked.
Wrong language - dictation uses your iPhone's system language (Settings → General → Language & Region).
No Action Button? - "Hey Siri, add to Telli" and the lock screen / Control Center button work on any iPhone running iOS 26.

Calendar

Telli asks for full calendar access only when you add a note to the calendar or turn on automatic adding. Full access is needed so Telli can update or remove the events it created when you edit or delete a note.

Your data

Everything stays on your iPhone. Telli has no server, no account, and no analytics. See the privacy policy.
