Privacy Policy

Short version: Telli does not collect any data. Everything you save stays on your iPhone.

What Telli stores

Your notes, threads, folders, and settings are stored on your device in Telli's private app container. Telli has no server, no user accounts, and no cloud service of its own. Nothing you save is transmitted to us or to anyone else.

If you use iCloud device backup, your Telli data may be included in that backup under Apple's terms. That is controlled by your iOS settings, not by Telli.

Dictation

Telli does not open the microphone and does not process audio. Voice capture is performed by Apple's Shortcuts "Dictate Text" action or by Siri, which are governed by Apple's privacy policy. Telli receives only the resulting text and saves it as-is.

Calendar

Telli asks for full calendar access only when you add a note to the calendar or turn on automatic adding. This access is used solely to create, update, and delete the calendar events you asked Telli to make. Calendar data is never read for any other purpose and never leaves your device.

Analytics, tracking, and third parties

Telli contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. It does not use third-party services. It makes no network requests except when you tap a link that opens Safari or the Shortcuts app.

Export

You can export your notes as plain text at any time from Settings. Where the exported file goes is entirely your choice.

Children

Telli does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
